Construction Insider is a full-service marketing company for general contractors, subcontractors and businesses that provide products and services to the residential construction industry in the cities & counties of the State of California.
Construction Insider publishes the Weekly “California GOLD Reports”. They include pre-permit and permitted residential projects, including Custom New Homes, Subdivisions, addition and remodel construction projects in 58 counties and over 400 cities in California. This information is collected from various resources, entered, researched thoroughly and e-mailed as a PDF or Excel report to our subscribers by 8AM every Monday. At the time we enter the data, about 33% of projects have not yet received their building permit. Our specialty is to provide you with those hard-to-find projects BEFORE they start. The permits for these upcoming projects will be issued in the next few weeks or months, providing our subscribers an excellent opportunity to develop a solid relationship with each prospect before their competition does.
Research: Construction Insider goes to great lengths to acquire and research this data. We are a unique service and take pride in our finished product. Owner, Contractor, Architect and Planner phone numbers (we collect 95% or homeowner phone numbers and 100% or contractor and architect phone numbers), email, web site, mailing addresses, contact names are researched and found via many different resources to insure that you have accurate and complete data. Our descriptions of the projects include square footage, number of stories, year built, lot acreage, lot value, improvements value, quality rating of the property (from 1 to 10) and very specific data on what they are going to build. We leave no stone unturned!
3 Report Formats Available:
PDF Gold Report – With only one project per page, this report is designed to be used by Sales personnel or Telemarketers. You can print out ONLY the projects you are interested in.
Excel Report – An alternative to printing out the reports. Allows easy customization and manipulation of the data, eliminates paperwork and allows uploading to sales software programs.
Mailing Label Templates – We email you Owner, Contractor and Architect mailing label templates so you can print your own labels for your mailers.
Subscription Options
1- California GOLD Subscription: These reports are designed for companies that have the time and manpower to fully utilize the Construction Insider leads and sales system. Subscribers will receive project leads for any or all of the 58 counties of California. They can subscribe to a Region (Northern, Central or Southern California), the San Francisco / Monterey Bay Area or choose any combination of the 58 counties. They typically mail to email and/or call the prospects that show the most potential for sales.
We prefer to not offer our service to every business. We choose to work with companies that offer high-quality and unique products and outstanding services. That’s what the prospects are looking for and that’s the type of client we are looking for. You may subscribe to California GOLD on a monthly, quarterly or annual basis, receiving weekly or monthly reports from any of the Regions or Counties you would like to market to. These subscriptions may be renewed or cancelled at the end of the subscription period.
2- Postcards: For those of you who do not have a sales force or the time to personally contact these prospects or would like to send the prospects some information about you before you contact them, Construction Insider can design a full-color postcard that you can mail to the best prospects on the reports every week in just a few minutes. We have created hundreds of beautiful postcards for our clients. Postcards offering incentives to respond by the prospects get the best results. (See samples at our postcard tab.)
3- Telemarketing, Appointment Setting & Mailing Services: For subscribers that do not have the time, manpower or desire to call the prospects on the reports, Construction Insider has a trained staff of professional Telemarketers to represent your company. They will set up appointments for you with prospects that are interested in talking to you about your products and services. We typically average one hot lead per hour. We will also mail your postcards, brochures, flyers or letters for you!
